The first time I laid eyes on Nikki was when I was buying pet food for someone elses pet. I went back 2 weeks in a row and there she still sat. I asked them why she was still there and they told me because shes old, everyone wants to adopt the kittens so I immediately told them I wanted her. I filled out the paperwork and paid the 60.00 adoption fee. I brought her home and she was my Angel and the companion I never knew I wanted or needed. I always liked other peoples animals but never wanted my own. Nikki changed all of that. She was my pampered princess and she will be sorely missed. There is an ache in my heart when I come home and shes not sleeping on her bed or looking up at me with those blue eyes to let me know it was her snack time. The lack of her presence in my life will be felt forever! I love you Nikki!
