Watson Reynolds Mahoney left us this morning under peaceful morning sunlight. Watson came to us when Deanna Reynolds adopted him from Boston Buddies as a rambunctious rescue dog with a biting problem. Under some behavioral coaching and love he was able to mellow out over time become a loving companion, friend and gentleman to all that met him. He was my best friend. We traveled the road together. Watson had been to 30 states, and we had many adventures and conversations on those trips. He touched and made everyone he met smile. He valiantly fought cancer for the last 2 years, and became an inspiration to me in that war. No matter how tough things got, he would be able to pick himself up, and move on, a true fighter, though he left the biting behind many years ago. He loved Bryce Fishman, and giving her allergies every time she came home. Thank you Deanna for finding him and leading him into my life. I will always have a Watson sized hole in my heart, but it was worth every moment, memory and feeling. I know our energies will cross again somewhere. Nobody loved hot dogs more. I love you. You are so strong.
